At the Champion Group we've all been saying that it has been far too long since our Shred took part in one of his selfless and amusing challenges…Therefore next Friday 24th May Shred will be ‘warming’ up for the bank holiday weekend with a mammoth SHRED vs FOOD challenge.
He will be taking on a mountain of fiery hot chilli con carne, prepared very kindly, by one of our Commercial Manager's mother in law to be Marion. Her chilli is world renowned for its ‘after burn’!
There is a reason for this suicidal challenge, as usual Shred is prepared to sacrifice his taste buds for this years Out of the Blue charity and I would ask that you all give generously when he comes round with his sponsorship form.
He will be asking for a donation per bowl. The mammoth saucepan full of chilli will be decanted into small bowls and his motivation to go the extra mile and push through the pain barrier will be our kind and generous donations!!!
Please don’t be tight and give generously, I would suggest of all Shred’s challenges that this may be the toughest (and therefore the most entertaining to watch)
As main club sponsors of Basingstoke Rugby Club we are both proud and delighted to announce that after a sensational team performance on Saturday we have qualified for the National Leagues!
Safe to say that there was only one team who looked like winning in the convincing victory over Eton Manor RFC at Down Grange on Saturday afternoon. A fantastic performance filled with commitment, passion and skill has earnt Basingstoke a place in National 3 South for the 2013/14 season.
We look forward to supporting the club in their return to the national leagues next season and would encourage staff, suppliers and clients to do the same with their local team!
