Barry Champion – Champion Group Managing Director
Barry founded the Champion Group in 1981. With over 30 years experience in the construction industry, Barry is responsible for all aspects of the Champion Group.

Perry Champion – Champion Brickwork Director

With over 27 years experience, Perry is responsible for all aspects of the award-winning Champion Brickwork, ensuring that we always measure up to our high standards. He is also a qualified first-aider. Perry has also completed the CITB accredited Directors Responsibility for Health and Safety award.

Kevin Croombs ACMA, CGMA – Champion Group Accountant
With over 10 years experience in the accounting profession, Kevin qualified as a member of CIMA in 2010. Previous experience includes private practice and manufacturing organsiations. Since 2007 he has been working with the Champion Group to provide a stable business model to ensure consistent growth and financial stability. Kevin and his accounts team are responsible for all financial matters including purchase ledger, sales ledger, treasury functions and all operational matters.

Dean Harrison – Champion Brickwork Commercial Manager
Dean is a qualified bricklayer with over 30 years experience in the construction industry. Dean holds the full Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS) certificate and is a member of the Construction Skills Certification Scheme. He also holds a certificate in effective people management. Dean has recently passed the 'Asbestos Aware' training course and been acredited as a qualified trainer in the 'Make Safety Personal' process. He is responsible for ensuring the smooth running of Champion Brickwork. Dean also recently attended the SEATS environmental course.

Scott Edwards – Champion Scaffolding Commercial Manager
A qualified Quantity Surveyor with nearly 30 years experience in the scaffolding industry, Scott has been with the Champion Group for over 20 years. He is responsible for ensuring the smooth running of both the technical and production sides of Champion Scaffolding. Scott is our representative with the National Access and Scaffolding Confederation (NASC) of which we are established members and has built up an enviable list of contacts within the access industry over the years. Scott also recently attended the SEATS environmental course.

Andy Jackson - Champion Build/Martins Tool Hire Commercial Manager

Having joined the business 6 years ago he has moved from a managerial role within Martins Tool Hire to oversee the strategic management of MTH from the head office. He (alongside Paul Kent) is also responsible for all aspects of Champion Build.

Rob Burling – Champion Scaffolding Contracts Manager

With 28 years in the Scaffolding industry, Rob has been an advanced scaffolder for 10 years. He is also a Qualified Scaffold Inspector. He is an FP4 Equipment Inspector of fall arrest equipment and holds a Construction Site Supervisors Safety Certificate (SMSTS).

Mick Richards – Champion Scaffolding Contracts Manager
With 30 years in the scaffolding industry, Mick has spent 10 years as a supervisor and the last five years as Contracts Manager. He is a qualified Scaffold Safety inspector. He is an FP4 equipment inspector of fall arrest equipment and also holds a Construction Site Managers Safety Certificate. He also holds a certificate in effective people management.

Russell Bowles - Champion Scaffolding Contracts Manager
With over 20 years in the scaffolding industry, Russell is the newest member of our scaffolding Contract Management team. An advanced scaffolder, Russell has recently completed the full 5 day SMSTS course and is a key part of the team responsible for delivering Champion standard service to our scaffolding clients. Russell has recently completed his SITS Scaffold Inspection course.

Andy Batten – Champion Group Haulage Manager/Scaffolding Contracts Manager
With 20 years within the Champion Group under Champion Scaffolding, Andy has progressed within the Group and has achieved OCR Level 3 Certificate of Professional Competence in National Road Haulage Operation. He is also a key member of our scaffolding contracts management team and holds the full 5 day SMSTS training certificate.

Paul Kent – Champion Build Senior Contracts Manager
Paul is a City & Guilds qualified carpenter and joiner with over 25 years experience in the building industry working on a variety of Listed and new buildings. He joined the Champion Group in 2004 as a site manager and has worked as the Senior Contracts Manager for Champion Build for the last 2 years. Paul holds a Construction Site Managers Safety Certificate and is a member of the Construction Skills Certification Scheme. Paul is also a qualified Face Fit Tester and recently sat the SEATS environmental course.

 Adie Bedwell - Champion Brickwork Senior Contracts Manager 

With over 20 years experience in the building industry, Adie has progressed through the Group and has recently become part of the renowned Champion Brickwork management team. Adie has achieved full SMSTS certification as well as PASMA qualification. He is a Thin Joint Building System specialist and has been a key part of our success in this method of construction. Adie is also a qualified Face Fit Tester.

Paul Pennell - Champion Brickwork Contracts Manager

Paul has over 20 years experience in the building industry and, like Adie, is part of the Champion Brickwork team which successfully manages our operatives on site. Paul will be undertaking the 5 day SMSTS training course in the new year to enhance his management knowledge and H&S skills. Paul is also an accredited face fit tester.

Kris Jasinski - Brickwork Manager

Kris has recently joined the management team after numerous years on site with Champion Brickwork. Kris has been a member of our remedial team for a number of years and now holds a quality management position within Champion Brickwork. Kris is responsible for the day to day running of numerous sites as well as quality management across all of our works. He assists Adie and Paul in the smooth running of our brickwork operations.

Kirsty Champion Bsc– Operations Manager

Kirsty joined the Champion Group from college as a Trainee Surveyor and holds a BSc Degree in Quantity Surveying. She has over 10 years experience in the construction industry with The Champion Group. Kirsty is responsible for the management of all operationsl functions within the Group including Health & Safety, HR, Training, Fleet Management and Procurement (amongst other things)
