Dementia Awareness Week

This Dementia Awareness Week we're encouraging anyone who is worried about dementia to confront their concerns and get in touch with Alzheimer's Society.

Hundreds of thousands of families are touched by dementia every year and many people don't know where to turn. We know dementia can be scary but you don’t have to face it alone.

If you're worried that you, or someone close to you, might have dementia, call the National Dementia Helpline on 0300 222 1122 or email for advice and support.

Further to an astute member of the public contacting the Police about suspicious activity of a scaffolding truck, the Police subsequently seized a vehicle and identified our materials, (due to our security measures) and we were contacted to identify this material and can confirm it was ours.

The Police have arrested an individual and have confirmed they intend to charge him with theft.

They have also confirmed they have found more of our material in a property owned by this individual which they are seizing. We will be collecting all this material and returning it to our yard.

This incident is further evidence of our continued policy to investigate any and every reported incident of theft or sighting of our materials.

This is the fourth incident in the last 2 years that we have investigated and recovered stolen material and the second incident where the culprit has been apprehended and charged.
