Show/Hide

The Champion Group are delighted to be part of Old Basing Cricket Club’s 200 year anniversary.

As part of these celebrations Old Basing cricket club host an All Star Lashings World XI on the 28th August 2015.

Old Basing Cricket Club work tirelessly to encourage participation at every level, especially through their Colts section, which involves huge efforts from parents, coaches, supporters and our young budding superstars of the future.

Their involvement with Lashings will go some way to enable them to continue to develop the youngsters and help ensure a bright future for the Club, for another 200 years !

One of the key principles behind the Lashings World XI is to ‘to make some of the world's best cricketers accessible to everybody and gives the players the chance to give something back to the grass roots of the game that made them’.

The day will provide the opportunity to meet and socialize with some of the greatest names to have played the game, and to watch them demonstrate their skills at Old Basing is very exciting and will no doubt provide lasting memories for us all.
